There are some common terms that cannot be used as field names in the Message Definition, and thus also not in a PMML file for this system. These are identified in the Advanced Developer’s Guide: they are the “reserved words” of the Scala language. However, if they ARE used as field names in a Message Definition, there is not a clear error message displayed to the user to say why the Message Definition did not succeed.

Please consider checking the Message Definition during the “kamanja add message” process,
and give an explicit message to the user, identifying the field name (or names) and telling why it is not accepted.

File formats like (Parquet and Avro) are suppoted in the Hadoop ecosystem, and it would be helpful to support reading/writing these formats in Kamanja HDFS Adapters
