    To one it will concern,

I just follow all the steps and I can echo the path configured. But once I close the terminal and reopen a new one, all setting are gone.

Could you help me with this issue?

Please ensure you’re adding the lines

    export SCALA_HOME=<where you installed Scala>

    export PATH=$SCALA_HOME/bin:$PATH

to your $HOME/.bashrc file (if you’re on linux) or to your $HOME/.bash_profile (if you’re on OS X)

instead of running the export commands inside your console.

Exported scalars (or environmental variables as the case may be) are loaded from either $HOME/.bashrc or $HOME/.bash_profile when you start the terminal. If those variables don’t exist in those files, restarting your terminal will cause them to no longer be available.
