    Hello,

    Regarding the prerequisites, to improve “ease of use”, give the details on how to check each prerequisite.

    Prerequisites

    CentOS/RedHat/OS X (virtual machine for Windows)

    • ~ 400 MB for installation (3 GB if building from source)
    • sudo access if you are using a Mac
    • JDK 1.7+ (preferable 1.8)
    • Scala v2.11.7
    • Kafka 2.11-0.8.2.2
    • ZooKeeper 3.4.6+
    • Ensure ZooKeeper, Kafka, and Cassandra OR HBase (optional) services are running.

    Hi Greg,

    I have added that details on how to check for prerequisites are described later on in the documentation.

    This change will go out in Kamanja 1.5.
