Add Kamanja to .bash_profile.

Note: On Linux, use .bashrc. On Mac, use .bash_profile.

Use a favorite editor to modify .bash_profile or .bashrc.

For example, on the Mac, first verify if there are admin privileges:

sudo -v

If you get the Password prompt, there are admin privileges.

Then type:

sudo vim ~/.bash_profile

to edit .bash_profile.

To edit without being root, change the owner of the file.

sudo chown user_name ~/.bash_profile

Now, modify .bash_profile or .bashrc with the following lines:

export KAMANJA_HOME=where Kamanja was installed
export PATH=$KAMANJA_HOME/bin:$PATH

For example:

export KAMANJA_HOME=/usr/local/Kamanja
export PATH=$KAMANJA_HOME/bin:$PATH

Run:

source .bash_profile

Verify that $KAMANJA_HOME is in $PATH:

echo $KAMANJA_HOME

Expected output:

/usr/local/Kamanja
